At Grund Cph, we believe in knowledge sharing and long-term talent development as a path to a more socially sustainable design industry. That vision lives through Grund Talent - our initiative supporting emerging designers on their journey toward creative independence.

We offer part-time employment alongside full-time access to our studio. This setup gives designers the structure, mentorship, and financial foundation they need - while leaving dedicated time and space to build their own projects and develop a self-sustaining design practice.

Our goal isn’t to absorb talent into full-time roles, but to empower the next generation of independent creatives. Because we believe true innovation happens when experience meets new perspectives - and when freedom, guidance, and trust are part of the process from the beginning.

Meet August

This is August - Designer, carpenter, and the very first candidate to join us as a mentee in Grund Talent.

With a background from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts and a foundation in woodcraft, August combines hands-on skill with thoughtful design - a blend we truly admire!

As part of Grund Talent, August is splitting his week between designing for us and pursuing his own creative projects.
